Shipping Policy
Overview
CMY Cubes is based in Sydney, Australia, and ships worldwide. Orders are packed and dispatched as quickly as possible. CMY Cubes is not liable for delays caused by postal carriers or customs authorities.
Dispatch
Orders are typically dispatched within 1 to 3 business days of purchase. During peak periods such as sales and holidays, dispatch may take longer.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day. Express postage refers to transit time only; the standard dispatch window still applies.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
- Standard Postage (Australia Post): $12 AUD, or free on orders over $100 AUD. Estimated transit 3 to 5 business days (metro), 5 to 10 business days (rural and WA).
- Express Postage (Australia Post): $20 AUD. Estimated transit 1 to 3 business days (metro), 3 to 7 business days (rural and WA).
International Shipping
- Standard Shipping (Australia Post): $10 USD, or free on orders over $65 USD. Estimated transit 7 to 10 business days.
- Express International (Australia Post): $20 USD. Estimated transit 7 to 10 business days.
- Express International (UPS): $50 USD. Estimated transit 3 to 7 business days.
Signature on Delivery
Signature-required delivery is available as an option at checkout on any order. For orders of $150 or more, signature on delivery is applied automatically. A carrier signature record is treated as confirmation of delivery.
Delivery Delays and Lost Parcels
If a parcel has not arrived within the estimated transit window, please contact hello@cmycubes.com so that an investigation can be opened with the carrier.
Carrier investigations can take up to 8 weeks to conclude, though they often finish sooner. We cannot issue a reship or refund until the investigation concludes and the parcel is formally confirmed as lost or returned to sender. Where we have a faster, fairer answer, we act on it without making you wait the full window.
Parcels Marked Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you cannot find it, please first check with everyone at the address, any neighbours, and any safe-drop spot, parcel locker, or building reception, and allow 24 to 48 hours in case of an early scan. Confirm the delivery address on your order was correct. Most parcels turn up at this stage.
If it is still missing, contact us at hello@cmycubes.com and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
Our carriers provide a confirmed or not-confirmed delivery status only. We do not receive GPS coordinates or a delivery photo, so a carrier confirmation is as far as we are able to verify. Once the carrier confirms the parcel was delivered to the correct address, we treat it as delivered. A parcel confirmed as delivered to the correct address falls outside Shipping Protection and is not eligible for a reship or refund. Theft or loss after a confirmed delivery is not something we are able to cover.
Claim window: any missing or non-delivered parcel must be reported to us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We are unable to offer a reship or refund for claims made after this 30-day window.
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping Protection
Shipping Protection is an optional add-on at checkout. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we will replace it once at no extra cost, provided the parcel has not been confirmed as delivered to the correct address (see "Parcels Marked Delivered but Not Received" above). Shipping Protection covers one free reshipment per order. If a further reship is needed, a reship fee of $10 USD applies, or we can refund the order value instead.
Returned and Uncollected Parcels
If a parcel is returned to CMY Cubes following a failed delivery attempt, or because it was not collected within the carrier's holding period, the following options apply:
- Reshipment to the original or amended address, subject to a $10 USD reshipping fee.
- Complimentary reshipment if Shipping Protection was purchased at checkout. One free resend is provided per order.
- Refund of the order value, processed only once the returned parcel has been received by CMY Cubes.
Import Taxes and Customs Duties
Customers are responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees, or other charges levied by the destination country. CMY Cubes has no control over these charges and cannot estimate them in advance.
If a parcel is returned because these charges were unpaid or because the parcel was not collected in time, the terms outlined under Returned and Uncollected Parcels above apply.
Tax ID Requirements
For deliveries to Brazil, China, South Korea, Italy, and Mexico, a local Tax ID is required for customs clearance. If this information is not collected at checkout, customers must email their Tax ID and order number to hello@cmycubes.com before the order can be dispatched. Orders cannot ship without this information.
Pre-Order Items
Items marked PRE-ORDER are not currently in stock and will ship once inventory becomes available. Estimated restock times are 15 to 30 days, with expected ship dates listed in each product description. These dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items are held and dispatched together once all items are available. Customers who require an item by a specific date are asked to email hello@cmycubes.com prior to placing the order.
Address Changes and Order Amendments
Customers have a 2-hour window after order placement during which changes, including amendments to the delivery address, may be requested. After this window, requests should be sent to hello@cmycubes.com. Every effort will be made to accommodate amendments, however changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered the dispatch process.
